For this reason, an environmental management system based on the internationally recognized ISO 14001 standard was introduced as early as 2002. A dedicated environmental officer is responsible for ensuring compliance with and further development of environmental protection measures. E+E Elektronik is now certified according to ISO 14001:2015.

Furthermore, E+E has joined the Climate Alliance. The consistent implementation of environmentally relevant measures has been beneficial for both E+E Elektronik and the environment. Significant achievements include:
