Sustainability

Sustainable business practices are a fundamental principle of E+E Elektronik’s corporate governance. We align our activities with the three pillars of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) responsibility and continuously develop and implement concrete measures in each of these areas.

Environment

E+E Elektronik introduced an environmental management system in 2002 and is today certified according to ISO 14001:2015. A dedicated Environmental Management Representative oversees its implementation and continuous improvement.

As a member of the Climate Alliance and a recognized climate-friendly company, we systematically reduce energy consumption, waste generation, and material usage. In doing so, we not only conserve natural resources but also strengthen our business location and secure long-term employment opportunities.

Social Responsibility

Our employees are the foundation of our success. We invest in safe workplaces, professional development and training, workplace health promotion, and a corporate culture that embraces diversity, equal opportunities, and fairness.

Governance

Integrity and compliance with applicable laws are essential prerequisites for sustainable business success. Our commitment to ethical business conduct is defined in our Code of Conduct, which applies equally to employees and business partners.

We are committed to fair competition, the protection of personal data, and the prevention of corruption in all forms.

Supply Chain Responsibility

We foster long-term partnerships throughout our supply chain and expect compliance with environmental regulations as well as internationally recognized social and human rights standards.

As a significant share of our environmental footprint originates within the upstream supply chain, we also expect our suppliers to commit to our Code of Conduct. We place great importance on fair, transparent, and responsible business relationships.

Whistleblowing System

We take reports of misconduct, legal violations, or unethical practices seriously. Employees and external stakeholders can report concerns confidentially – and, if desired, completely anonymously – through our independent reporting platform: https://hinweis.sagedpw.at/213225/

Whistleblowers are protected against retaliation in accordance with the Austrian Whistleblower Protection Act (HSchG) and the EU Whistleblower Directive (EU) 2019/1937.

External Assessment – EcoVadis

The effectiveness of our sustainability activities is independently assessed. In the EcoVadis sustainability assessment, which evaluates environmental performance, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement, E+E Elektronik has achieved the EcoVadis Committed Badge.

Based on these assessment results, we continuously and systematically advance our ESG initiatives.

EcoVadis Committed Verified participation in the EcoVadis sustainability rating as a basis for continuous ESG improvements.
